- My boyfriend is a shy Vegan cook whose recipes I document because they are delicious and downplayed by him. I am only too happy to leak the recipes. Sometimes I feel like a spy. Running over to him and snapping photos of his cooking process is a habit of mine. I am now on a vegan diet. Since it is pretty recent for me, I do not call myself "vegan". I was vegetarian and dabbled in veganism years before I met my love, but was not able to sustain a vegan diet until we began shopping, cooking and eating together. It became simpler. I know he would still kiss me if I felt like eating a meaty steak and did so. He is that good, and so am I.
